Each content creator has a profile page on LTK – called their LTK shop – where users can see their content alongside tagged products. App users who follow the creator can support them directly with a sale commission by shopping through their favorite creator’s LTK shop links.

What is LTK?
LTK is a social shopping platform where top content creators curate their favorite products for followers and other shoppers. The name “LTK” stands for “Like To Know It”, which refers to how the platform works. Users tap a heart-shaped icon to “like” a post or product – and they then receive the details and links to the pictured items (like clothing, home decor items, fitness gear, makeup, and other products).
LTK functions like a social network in which each influencer has a profile page. Images and videos posted to LTK by the creator appear in chronological order on their profile page “shop”, similar to an Instagram profile. The app also includes a home page that shows influencers that the user has “followed”, as well as a carousel of “recently viewed” products. The LTK app also includes a “Discovery” section which is helpful for finding inspiration and new creators to follow.
How do you use LTK?
LTK is easy to use. The first step is to download the LTK app from the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store. Then you’ll need to create a quick account to gain access. Once you’re in, it’s time to start shopping!

How do you follow someone on LTK?
There are two main ways to follow someone on LTK:
- Find their LTK profile link on social media, click through to their LTK profile, and click the “Follow” button inside LTK.
- Open the LTK app, click the search bar at the top of the screen, and type in their name or handle.
Most influencers and content creators have a direct link to their LTK profile on their Instagram profile, YouTube channel, or personal website/blog. Look for an LTK link in their Instagram bio, at the top right of their YouTube channel page, or linked from the top navigation menu of their personal website.
You can also follow creators on LTK by going to the “Discover” tab (located on the bottom navigation bar) and checking out profiles of various influencers to potentially follow.
How to shop on LTK
Shopping on LTK is easy. You can either shop by checking out products recommended by the influencers you follow, or you can go to the Discover tab to shop specific categories.
If you’re already following some influencers, you’ll see their profiles and recent shoppable posts on your homepage. LTK ranks the images/creators based on which creators have posted most recently. A little number shown beside each Creator’s profile icon shows how many unseen posts are available from that Creator.

How to find deals on LTK?
LTK has a special section called “Deals” and “Sale Alert” for influencer posts that share deals or discount codes:
Like the Discover category pages, the Deals/Sale Alert page updates with new posts from influencers as they go live.
